First Appointment Information

  • Your first visit will consist of any necessary radiographs, a clinical exam, and a consultation regarding your treatment options. If you present in pain, we will do all we can to relieve your pain. For some procedures, we can offer same day treatment if requested.
  • If you have dental insurance, please bring your card with you to your appointment along with a photo ID. If you don’t have an insurance card, please try and obtain the ID number, group number, and phone number. This information will allow us to verify coverage. If for some reason we are not able to verify coverage, you will be responsible for your first visit, and we will reimburse you once coverage is verified and/or payment is received from your dental insurance provider.
  • Please alert the office of any medical conditions (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, artificial joints, rheumatic heart disease, use of certain medications such as Coumadin, Fosamax, Boniva, etc.) prior to this visit so that we may take all necessary precautions.
  • If your referring dental office has current radiographs (within the past year), please contact them so that they may provide us with a copy. We will only take the films that are necessary for us to address your current periodontal condition.
  • Your appointment will be scheduled as expeditiously as possible. If you are in pain or have an emergency situation we will make every effort to see you on the day that you call.
